Happy Thursday!
Earlier this week I made an exciting announcement: starting September 30th, I’ll be giving facials a few days a week at Ställe Studios, a boutique spa in NYC founded by esthetician Elizabeth Grace Hand. I’m so excited and hope I get to work with some of you in person! (If you book, write “JOLDEF” in the appointment notes box for $50 off your first appointment.)
There are many reasons why I feel like this studio is the right fit for me, but one of the big ones is Ställe’s customized, treatment-focused facials. This means that I’ll be able to tailor your facial to your skin in the moment using a variety of professional devices and products. Instead of using a single product line, Elizabeth has carefully curated a selection of best-in-class brands that allow me to create a completely individual experience.
You may remember the Facial 101 issue from a few months ago, where I answered your questions about facials, different options, what to expect, how to prepare and how to decide. Today I thought I’d walk you through Ställe’s Signature Facial, which is the standard facial that forms the foundation of each custom treatment. A basic facial anywhere will roughly follow this order, too.
