This New App Wants to Pay for Your Sephora Sale Cart

They’re tricky to develop and even trickier to stick to, especially if you are rotating actives, switching it up morning/night, dealing with new breakouts and constantly bombarded with new product recommendations on social media. Iris allows you to make highly customizable, shareable routines with variability in steps, cycling and budget options, more accurately and authentically reflecting what a skincare routine can really look like. Through the lens of a routine, you can share feedback, ask questions, gain inspiration from others and make a wish list of products all in one place.

I’m often asked what products you should use on nights off from exfoliants and retinoids, so here’s one example of a repair night routine I created on Iris! You’ll notice each step has a short description and my own review of 1-2 product options, which you can add to your “want to try” list by clicking the bag icon or write your own review. You can also like, comment or share the entire routine.

Your routines aren’t limited to just skincare, however! I also made a simple, step-by-step Hair Reset Routine (and many of my Holy Grail hair products are part of the Sephora Sale!) Each of these products also have my own review on the Iris app, plus an affiliate link to purchase (you can add your own affiliate link to any products that you review. And later this week, the ability to also include discount codes!)

Now that I’ve taunted you with recommendations and ideas, it’s time for you to make your own routine and enter the giveaway!

Here’s the gist. Create and share your current routine on Iris featuring Sephora products and share it in the comments to be entered to win a Sephora gift card to help make your dream routine a reality! 3 winners will be chosen based on routine quality and effort, so get creative. Plus, the sooner you comment with your routine, the more likely I will have a chance to personally review it and offer consultative advice on the Iris app. 

How to enter:

1. Download Iris & create an account (available in the US + CAN only, iPhone only)

2. Create an actual routine that’s worked well for you, featuring some Sephora products. Your entry should include a minimum of 3 steps and 3 products. Include thoughtful, honest reviews on each of those products in your routine. (To easily write a review, type the product into the search bar of the “Discover” tab.)

3. Share your routine in the comments of this Substack post. 

4. Winners will be chosen based on routine quality, creativity and effort. 1st place: $200 gift card, 2nd & 3rd place: $100 gift card each.
